Mevian’s novel packaging: a way to reduce our footprint

Out with the old and in with the new. We at Mevian Medicare decide to embrace change and committed to taking a big step toward our focus goal and that meant redesigning and reintroducing our packaging. Want to see more of what this entails…

Materials, Materials, Materials. Undeniable we can do amazing things with them. They provide us endless opportunities to innovate revolutionary products, but where are the clear boundaries to protect the environment? Mevian’s Medicare head of sustainability reassessed vast amounts of information and groundbreaking data and concluded that materials bear a huge responsibility for up to 83% of our global environmental footprint – no words can describe what a problem that is. We embrace those problems aiming to turn them into opportunities for innovative solutions. And we just love innovating a whole lot.

As we introduce more recycled materials, we hance reduce our CO2 footprint and familiarize ourselves with new process systems for our products, it’s about time the packaging rise to the new world demands. Plus, quoting Mevian’s Medicare Head of design ‘’The sustainability is about to hit the product design’’

Why exhaust fossil fuel resources when we can give a second life to premium materials? A clear design approach for our packaging was introduced by our sustainability team.
But it’s not just government legislation driving change – the desire for eco-friendly packaging is driven by many passionate individuals all over the world. This has become a powerful motive behind consumer choices. millennials and gen Z buyers are greatly concerned with reducing their environmental impact and are looking at the companies they buy from to help them achieve their own sustainability goals. A 2019 report by Forbes found that 62 percent of Generation Z prefer to buy from sustainable brands, which was on par with their findings for millennials.
Our Sustainability and Product Design department got seriously into investigating all parameters, data, and trends that are strongly supported by innovative technology to push all our associates to incorporate strict industrial waste management systems thus creating delightfully smooth, light packaging that’s also of high-quality and protective.
And the best thing? All our packaging is recyclable, remember this again once since you are preferring our brand. We know recycling facilities vary from country to country so check with your local council, or your nice neighbor with the well-maintained plants… they know.

Ink to Actions….
And now, with less ink on our boxes, we have a significantly lower impact on the environment.
To eliminate the concept of waste means to design things-products, packaging, and systems-from the very beginning on the understanding that waste does not exist.
